Toyota GR Corolla Price in Pakistan

Toyota GR Corolla Price in Pakistan 2023. Toyota has given its performance-vehicle skunkworks division, Gazoo Racing, free rein to give the compact Corolla hatchback the tuner treatment. And what hard work they’ve put in: the end result is the 2023 GR Corolla, which is a little terror. Toyota has already released a GR-tuned version of its Yaris subcompact car in global markets, which shares its turbocharged 1.6-liter, three-cylinder engine with the GR Corolla.

The little triple is boosted to 300 high-strung horsepower here, and it’s only available with a six-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive. In recent years, Toyota has been on a crusade to add excitement to its lineup with sportier offerings—witness the resurrected Supra sports car—and more stylish designs and this rally-racer-inspired hot hatchback should help.

The GR Corolla will join Toyota’s lineup in 2023, competing with popular sport compacts such as the Honda Civic Si, Hyundai Veloster N, and the 10Best award-winning Volkswagen Golf GTI and Jetta GLI. Given its price and horsepower, the GR Corolla will likely compete with the top-tier hot hatches—the Volkswagen Golf R and the upcoming Honda Civic Type R.

Toyota hasn’t released pricing for the GR Corolla yet, but we expect the base Core trim to start around $30,000, with the loaded Circuit Edition costing approximately $40,000. We’d stick with the Core and add the Performance package, which includes limited-slip differentials in the front and rear. Toyota GR Corolla Price in Pakistan 2023.

Exterior

The GR Corolla is powered by a turbocharged three-cylinder engine borrowed from the GR Yaris, a hatchback sold in global markets other than the United States. It was tuned up to make 300 horsepower for the GR Corolla, which is an eye-opening 185.4 horsepower per litre and 43 horsepower more than the GR Yaris.

The only transmission option is a six-speed manual, and all models include Toyota’s GR-Four all-wheel drive system. The GR-Four system allows the driver to select between various power-distribution modes, ranging from a 60/40 front-to-rear split for everyday driving to a maximum of 30/70 for drifting antics; a 50 – 50 split option is intended to just provide max traction for racing.

Interior

The GR Corolla’s cabin is mostly identical to that of the standard Corolla hatchback, which means good build quality, soft-touch materials, and a plethora of features, but with racier trim and sports seats. Ambient interior lighting, a six-way customizable driver’s seat, push-button start, and aluminium pedal covers are all standard features.

The Circuit Edition comes standard with automatic climate control, heated seats, and a heated steering wheel, as well as suede and faux-leather upholstery instead of the base model’s cloth. The Morizo Edition promises even more excitement at the expense of practicality; Toyota has removed the back seats, back speakers, and even the hatchback-mounted window wiper to save weight. Less weight means faster lap times.
